However the former Barça man warns them not to underestimate a dangerous Manchester United side

Watford's Gerard Deulofeu told ESPN how he sees FC Barceona are they prepare to face a rejuvenated Manchester United in the quarter finals of the Champions League.

"Barça are the favourites because they have a better team and have the best player in the world who is Messi. But in the Champions League we've already seen that anything can happen and they need to be careful against Manchester United because they've improved a lot."

"It looks like things in the dressing room weren't going well. Now that's changed and they've working better as a team. They've got great players and are a dangerous team," insisted Deulofeu.

And whilst United have improved and could cause Barça problems, Deulofeu believes his former side are favourites due to playing the second leg at the Camp Nou. "It could Barça the edge."

BARÇA is in the past

After being one of the most exciting players to emerge from La Masia, he didn't quite have the same impact at senior level. He spent time on loan at Everton and Sevilla before later being re-signed by Barça. However, once again, it didn't go according to plan and he's now ended up at Watford.

"I'm not thinking about (another) return. I don't want to go back to Barça. My time there is over and that's it. I don't feel disappointed because it was me who decided to leave."

He was then asked about whether he'd like to work under Pep Guardiola again. "That'd be really nice. I'd love to play for him because we never had the chance to work together for a full year at Barça, although we did see each other in training and in some games. One of his great qualities as a coach is that he's a great person. I wish him every success," he concluded.
