Angel Maria Villar freed on bail after prison stay

Villar and his son had been jailed while bail was agreed on

Ángel María Villar, president of the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF), currently suspended, gave his thanks "to all the people" who have backed him "privately and publicly" after he was arrested and then bailed for 300,000 euros.

Villar did not accept questions from the media, and he also thanked those who defended him and his son Gorka Villar, as well as Juan Padron, the economic vice-president of the RFEF. 

Villar and his son left the Soto del Real prison in Madrid after paying 300,000 and 150,000 euros respectively.
