The Portuguese midfielder's impressive performances for Everton are starting to get him noticed by other teams in Europe

The fantastic performances from Andre Gomes at Everton are beginning to see other sides in England show an interest in FC Barcelona's on loan midfielder. According to 'The Telegraph' Tottenham Hotspur are the latest team to add their name to the list of his admirers.

Against Watford, Gomes played another 90 minutes for Everton and helped his side earn a point. It was former Barça man, Lucas Digne, who scored the late freekick to make it 2-2. The Portuguese star has started eight matches for 'The Toffees' after overcoming his initial injury problems. In fact, he's played more minutes for Everton so far this season than his did throughout the whole of the last campaign with Barcelona.

Andre Gomes is finally rediscovering his best form after struggling to adapt to life at Barça. The only concern for Everton is that because they didn't agree an option to buy, the midfielder's performances could attract interest from other Premier League sides. Marco Silva said this at his press conference: "His future isn't in our hands or even in Andre's. We're going to wait until we can talk about a deal."

However Andre Gomes has already stated his desire to stay, "I'm very happy to have signed for this great job. I'm not thinking about going back," said the midfielder after being asked about a potential return to the Camp Nou next summer.
