Louis van Gaal back on the bench in Holland
The former Man United coach is taking over for one game
Never say never, because you might end up like Louis van Gaal. He retired definitively in 2019 after leaving Manchester United, but now he’s back.
He told his wife a couple of years ago that she had the right to enjoy him too and so he was giving up work, but football has knocked on his door again.
He’s taking over Dutch second division team Telstar, but only for one game. It’s for charity, with a fan able to bid to be his assistant on the bench.
Van Gaal played for Telstar back in the 1988-78 season.
