Deportes Cuatro have revealed the striker's next career move after the U.S

Andres Iniesta will have a new teammate at Vissel Kobe. And not any old teammate. He will be reunited with David Villa, according to Deportes Cuatro, when the Asturian leaves New York City.

Villa confirmed this week that he will leave the MLS when his contract expires. His deal ends on Dec. 31 in the United States.

The former Barcelona, Valencia and Atletico Madrid forward, who will turn 37 on Monday, still wants to keep playing and has spoken with Iniesta about the move to Japan.

Iniesta signed for Vissel Kobe in the summer after a shimmering career with Barça. The two played together at Camp Nou between 2010 and 2013, when they won two league titles and one Champions League.

They were also both part of the Spain team which won the World Cup in 2010, with Iniesta scoring the winning goal in the final against Holland. Villa, meanwhile, remains La Roja's top scorer and the two are now set for a reunion in Asia.
