"I¿m getting ready for my third season as a bianconero," the Portuguese star posted on his official Instagram account

Not long after Andrea Pirlo was confirmed as the new coach of Juventus, rumours began to circle the footballing world that Cristiano Ronaldo would search for a new challenge in Europe. However, on his most recent Instagram post, the Portuguese star has committed his future to Juventus next season.

Whilst the world is crashing down at Barça as Koeman tries desperately to keep hold of Leo Messi, who has told the club he wants to leave, Cristiano's name won't be linked with a move elsewhere. "My spirit and ambition are as high as ever."

Much like Barça, Juve were extremely disappointing in Europe as they crashed out on away goals to Lyon. He was immediately linked with a move to Lyon's rivals, PSG, as an escape route from Italy. Cristiano will, however, remain at the club. "With all my strength and with the precious help from my teammates and all of the Juventus staff, we work once again to conquer Italy, Europe and the World!"

"Breaking records. Overcoming obstacles. Winning titles and achieving personal goals. To do more and better once and again. To reach higher and to succeed in all challenges that may come our way."

"Making every year into an adventure better than the one before and winning everything for our fans and supporters. To be the bearers of this amazing and unique passion that is Juventus, and to live up to its history, elevating our name, our values and our standards as high as possible."
