Kheira Hamraoui says she is leaving Barcelona Femeni
The midfielder has played an important part in recent years
Kheira Hamraoui has made it public that she is leaving Barcelona Femeni. The Frenchwoman has played for the club for three years and said “all my objectives were completed with Barca”. She published various photographs of her time at the club. She arrived in 2018 from Lyon and won the Champions League this year.
Kheira has been a key player at big moments and her goals, like the one in extra-time against Deportivo that took them to the Copa de la Reina semis last season won’t be forgotten.
She won a Champions League, two Ligas, two Copas de la Reina and two Copas de Catalunya. She played 96 games and scored 18 goals.
“The moment has arrived to turn this marvellous page and start something new. My mission here is finished and a new adventure is beginning.”
She did not say where she was going yet and the club have not signed a replacement in midfield. She follows Vicky Losada in leaving.
