Getafe the La Liga team pushing hardest for Barça's Aleña

The midfielder's not played regularly under Koeman and may leave on loan

If one thing is clear at Barcelona since Ronald Koeman took over it's that the youngsters are important. We have seen the likes of Pedri, Ronald Araujo and Ansu Fati consolidate their place in the first-team squad.

However, there's not room for everyone and there are two cases that prove that. Despite graduating from La Masia with huge potential and a big future ahead of them, Carles Aleña and Riqui Puig have not had the opportunities they would have liked at Camp Nou.

For that reason the club are looking to let them leave on loan in January so they can gain more first-team experience elsewhere.

In this sense, Pipi Estrada on El Chriniguito has revealed Getafe are really interested in loaning Aleña, who spent six months at Real Betis last season, when the January transfer window opens.

Jose Bordalas' side doesn't seem like the perfect fit for the midfielder but he would improve defensively and tactically under the Getafe coach, which could help him win a place in Koeman's midfield in the future.
