Arsenal's failure to win means they miss out on a Champions League spot nextt season after finishing fifth in the Premier League, while Chelsea will be one of the eight top seeds.

Former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud opened the scoring after the break. The French forward headed home after a first half which had been dominated by the Gunners.

But the second half was all about Chelsea and they doubled their lead in this London derby in Baku when Pedro turned home Hazard's cross.

Hazard then scored from the penalty spot after Giroud was fouled before substitute Alex Iwobi pulled one back for Arsenal.

However, any hope of a comeback was short lived as Chelsea went up the other ends and restored their four-goal lead through Hazard as they won the Europa League for the second time since 2013.

The Beligum forward may now be off. He admitted after the game it's likely to have been his last match for the club as he pushes for a move to Real Madrid.
