Former Barcelona player Aleix Vidal has become Espanyol’s third signing this summer. The 32 year old wide man arrives on a free transfer and signed a two year deal, plus one more additional year.
He’ll reinforce the club’s right side, at winger or at full-back, given he can play both.
Aleix has played 343 games for Spanish clubs, including at America, Sevilla, Barca and Alaves. He had a quick period at Espanyol in 07-08, arriving from Reus, but left after not finding any opportunities there back then.
He was presented after passing his medical on Wednesday, along with Manu Morlanes, who has been signed on loan from Villarreal.
