The Slovenian hits the peak of his career tonight as Liverpool face Tottenham at the Wanda

The Champions League final referee is Slovenia’s Damir Skomina, who will complete a European club treble on Saturday at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Skomina took charge of the Europa League final between Ajax and Manchester United in 2017, as well as the UEFA Super Cup match between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid in 2012.

"I didn't set myself these targets," Skomina told UEFA. “But I feel I've worked very hard over the years to get this far. I'm hugely proud of being chosen for this match."
