UEFA investigate Cristiano Ronaldo's 'cojones' gesture
The Portuguese striker copied Simeone and mocked Atletico after the UCL comeback
UEFA have opened a case against Cristiano Ronaldo after he copied Diego Simeone’s ‘cojones’ celebration during Juve’s 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid.
The 34-year-old mocked Atletico with the crude gesture after netting a hat-trick to secure Juventus’s 3-2 aggregate win over Atletico in the Champions League.
Simeone was not banned for making the gesture and instead was fined 20,000 euros.
Juve play Ajax in the quarter-finals of the tournament as they bid to win it for the first time since 1996.
