Bayer are worried their chances of winning will be hampered by the officials

Bayern Munich are worried about the refereeing in the Champions League semi-finals to come against Real Madrid. Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Muller have put more wood on the fire, recalling Bayern’s controversial elimination by Madrid last season.

Kimmich says the German side have the capacity to eliminate Madrid and reach the final, but wanted to recall that last year they could have done if not for bad officiating.

“We want to get to the final, last year we had bad luck with the refereeing,” said Kimmich.

Muller added: “Against Real Madrid they will not give us anything.”

However the German forward is confident.

“We have high morale. The game arrives at an ideal moment, we are in a great spell. We will stay united, the quality is high and the will to win is enormous.”

Coach Jupp Heynckes added: “We know how good Real Madrid are, but we aren’t bad ourselves.”
