Pep Guardiola denies Man City interest in Dani Olmo

The winger has been linked with Barcelona and Manchester City in the last few months

Man City have done their homework in the Champions League, through after beating PSG in the fifth match in their group, ahead of their final clash against RB Leipzig. They will do so with five B team players in the squad and various rotations.

Pep Guardiola was asked about Dani Olmo, the Leipzig forward. He has been linked to city in the future.

“We are not interested in Dani Olmo,” Pep said, however. “Having said that, I have to say that he is an exceptional player, very good. I admire that he had the courage to leave Barcelona and go to Croatia to develop his talent and now he’s at Leipzig.”

Pep confirmed Kevin de Bruyne would start for the first time since testing positive for Covid-19. “We’ll see how many minutes he can play,” said the coach.
