Mijatovic blasts Dani Alves over offside goal claims

Pedja Mijatovic added fuel to the fire after Dani Alves claimed his goal in the 1998 Champions League final that helped Real Madrid beat Juventus was offside.
Mijatovic spoke on Cadena Ser, saying Dani Alves “has never been very intelligent with his comments”.
The former Madrid man was angry about Alves’ words, saying “the opinion of Alves or Juventus doesn’t mean anything to me”.
Mijatovic was offside when he netted in the 98 final to break a 32 drought for Madrid in the European Cup.
“The Italians are always going on about offside, it’s their form of digesting the defeat. It wasn’t offside,” he said.
