The full-back says Neymar's absence won't have an impact

PSG go into Tuesday's game against Madrid 3-1 behind

Paris Saint-Germain beat Troyes in the league on Saturday, their final game before Tuesday's visit from Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The PSG players are now beginning to think about the game against Zinedine Zidane's side, which they go into with a 3-1 deficit from the first leg.

Full-back Thomas Meunier insists that the absence of Neymar -- who's set to miss the rest of the season -- is not an excuse for the Ligue 1 leaders.

"Not having Neymar doesn't have any impact on us," the Belgium international said. "With or without Neymar we don't have any excuses. We have to show Europe that PSG are on the map."

Pressed on Neymar, Meunier reiterated: "He is an exceptional player, but with this group of players, with or without him, there is no excuse. There's [Angel] Di Maria, [Julian] Draxler...

"We have a great group of players, as we showed at home last year against Barcelona. We're a side at the top of the European game."
