Marc Overmars: Ajax don't have that much chance against Madrid
He only gave his own side a 20 per cent chance of going through
Former Barcelona winger Marc Overmars, currently Ajax's sporting director, believes that Real Madrid are firm favourites to progress.
"We feel strong enough to knock Real Madrid out, but we don't have much chance. For me it's a 20 percenter for Ajax and 80 for Real Madrid," the Dutchman told EFE on his arrival in the Spanish capital ahead of Tuesday's game.
Madrid won 2-1 in Amsterdam in the last 16 first leg and Madrid are fighting for their one realistic chance of silverware - and have won the last three Champions League trophies.
"It's a very difficult second leg because the Champions League is a big opportunity for Real Madrid, I think the only chance they have to continue in their season," said Overmars.
However Madrid have lost two games against Barca which was a physical and emotional drain, putting lots of pressure on the team on Tuesday.
