Liverpool's German goalkeeper Loris Karius left Kiev a wreck after his two hideous errors gifted Real Madrid the Champions League final.
"I don't know what happened. I'm sorry to my team-mates for losing the final. They tried to cheer me up in the dressing room, but I'm so sorry," said the goalkeeper.
“I’m sorry for everyone, from the team, from the whole club, that the mistakes cost us dearly,” he added on talkSPORT.
“If I could go back in time, I would. I feel sorry for my team. I know I let them down. It’s very hard right now but that’s the life of a goalkeeper. These goals cost us the title, basically.”
