Gerard Pique's ambiguous tweet... about Ronaldo's offside?

The Barça defender took to Twitter moments after Ronaldo's second goal

It was the goal which turned the tie as Madrid beat Bayern after extra-time

Gerard Pique, always active on social media, posted an ambiguous message on Twitter moments after Cristiano Ronaldo scored the goal which effectively ended the tie as Real Madrid knocked Bayern Munich out of the Champions League on Tuesday.

Three full stops ("...") was all he posted on his account. The tweet was loaded with irony and seemed to make reference to the events going on at the Santiago Bernabeu -- and that's the way it was quickly interpreted, too.

Ronaldo scored three goals against Bayern but the second was the most controversial. The Portuguese forward received the ball in an offside position but the goal stood. His third goal was also just offside, but it was a closer call.

Given the irony usually used by Pique to talk about refereeing decisions, it seems evident, for the content and timing of the publication, that the Catalan centre-back wanted to note his annoyance or disagreement with respect to the decision.
