Cristiano Ronaldo says he is "happy" despite rape allegation
The Real Madrid forward did address his personal situation and responded to an Isco comment
Cristiano Ronaldo said he is happy despite the rape claims against him over a case in the United States, which he denies.
The Juventus forward spoke to media at Old Trafford ahead of the Champions League clash against Manchester United.
"I know I am an example, 100%. In the pitch and outside the pitch. I am a happy man, I smile, I play in a fantastic club, I have four kids, I am healthy, the rest doesn't interfere on me so I am very glad,” said Ronaldo.
"I am a happy man. We have done a statement two weeks ago and I am glad.
"Of course I am not going to lie in this situation, my lawyers are confident and I am too. I enjoy the football, my life and the rest people take care of my life.
"The truth always comes in first position. I am good."
He also responded to a comment from isco about Real Madrid not crying “over a player who didn’t want to be here.”
“What (Isco) said is fine, you can’t cry,” said Ronaldo.
