Bild: Crisis at Bayern Munich as Mane punches teammate Sane!
The teammates came to blows after the Champions League loss to Man City
Things are tense at Bayern Munich after the painful defeat against Manchester City in the Champions League. The dressing room is a powder keg and German newspaper 'Bild' has now revealed that Sadio Mané assaulted Leroy Sané in the locker room after the game.
The confrontation stemmed from the 83rd minute of the match, when Sané preferred to play short instead of making a deep pass to his teammate. As a result of this misunderstanding, Mané reproached the German player for his action and there was an exchange of accusations and gestures between the two on the pitch.
Once they reached the changing rooms, Mané criticised his teammate's attitude and the way he had addressed him on the pitch. The dispute escalated and Mané ended up punching the former Manchester City player in the lip.
The other Bayern players had to intervene in the fight and prevented it from escalating. However, it is yet another example of the tense situation at the Bavarian club.
