AC Milan 0-2 Inter Milan: Dzeko and Mkhitaryan strike first

Inter took the advantage in the tie and put one foot in the final

Inter struck first and convincingly against AC Milan in the Champions League semifinals. In a blistering start, Edin Dzeko and Henrik Mkhitaryan scored two goals in three minutes. And they only didn’t get more because Çalhanoglu fired against the post and the VAR denied a penalty on Lautaro. The 'Rossoneri' improved after the break, and even hit the woodwork, but they lacked balance and the 'Nerazzurri' managed their advantage without too much trouble.

Inter, who got through the group stage at the expense of Barcelona, will be firm favourites to reach the final now.

There they will face Manchester City or record 14 time champions Real Madrid, who shared a 1-1 draw on Tuesday at the Bernabeu.
