Bayern say Cristiano Ronaldo signing would not be good business
The club's director of marketing, Jorg Walcker, spoke about the Portuguese forward who joined Juventus
Bayern Munich have evaluated the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo by Juventus in terms of marketing. The director of marketing and strategy, Jorg Wacker, said that he would not have signed him for the German club.
"In terms of marketing it would not work, maybe in other clubs yes, but here no, because we believe that the brand of a footballer cannot be superior in value to that of a club," said Wacker.
"Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus, but maybe he'll decline from here in not too much time."
