Transfer guru Antonio Cordon joins Pellegrini at Real Betis
The pair previously worked together at Villarreal and have now been reunited once again
Real Betis have added Antonio Cordon to their new look setup ahead of next season. He joins Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini at Real Betis with the pair having previously worked together at Villarreal.
Antonio Cordón Ruiz has earned high praise for his work at Villarreal, Monaco, Granada and most recently China. Similar to another director of football in Sevilla, Monchi, Cordon has earned a reputation for bringing in players for less than their market value.
In a statement on Betis' official website, this is how they described him: "The new Green and White director of football is known for his deep knowledge of the football market and developing footballers. He has not just achieved sporting success in all his clubs, but he has also created important capital gains that have come with sporting and institutional growth in all these places."
