Yerry Mina's fans furious defender didn't play against Roma
The Colombian defender was not even named among the seven substitutes
Fans and followers of Yerry Mina, Barcelona's Colombian central defender, could not hide their frustration that he was not on the pitch as the La Liga leaders were eliminated from the Champions League by Roma.
Some of them blamed coach Ernesto Valverde for Barça's European exit, arguing that with the Mina on the pitch they would still be in the competition.
Mina's supporters kicked off on social media, voicing their lack of faith in Valverde, who has not shown much faith in the Colombia international since he arrived in January.
There were comments and insults throughout the night as they failed to understand why Mina had not played at the Stadio Olimpico.
"With Yerry Mina on the pitch, this doesn't happen," @pabloemiliomh wrote as Roma beat Barça 3-0, with Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti struggling.
Franklin (@frankyvive91) added: "And we have Yerry Mina, who's dying to play, and would at least play with more balls than those playing right now."
