Xavi gives two days off but five players attend training

After the first official victory of the season, the FC Barcelona squad has two days off. Xavi will call his players together again on Wednesday afternoon for training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Even so, as is often the case, some players have 'disregarded' the staff's generosity and have turned up for training on Monday. Two of them are more logical. Ronald Araujo and Íñigo Martínez are still recovering from their injuries and have come to continue working on a personalised basis.

The Uruguayan suffered a hamstring injury in training last week and will be out for a month or so. Íñigo joined the group for part of the work and is taking steps forward with his fascia injury.

Of those who took part yesterday, Jules Koundé, Ferran and Pedri attended despite having the day off. Jules played the full 90 minutes, as did Pedri. Ferran, who scored the second, came on in the 85th minute.
