"He's young and when you play in team of this level, there are lots of things to learn"

Ousmane Dembele was one of the players Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was asked about on Saturday.

The Frenchman wasn't satisifed at Wembley. The reason being he had started every game of the nine games this season until the Tottenham game, when he was left on the bench -- and he did not come on.

After naming him in the France squad this week, Didier Deschamps had some advice for Dembele, who he thinks still needs to improve to make it at the top level.

Valverde doesn't seem to like what Deschamps had to say, saying that "I don't know what he could be referring to. It is not easy to start regularly for Barça, but he is starting a lot of games."

However, the Barça coach added: "We have always recognised the incredible talent he has on the ball and that, well, as for his concept of football as a team game he's in a process..

"He’s young. When you play in team of this level, there are lots of things to learn. Not just young people, either, but veterans as well."
