Just a couple of details remain to be sorted with Bayern Munich
Barcelona have reached a deal with Arturo Vidal. The Chilean will join for three seasons and earn nine million euros a year. Although the club need to seal a couple of details with Bayern Munich to announce the transfer officially, it should happen in the coming hours.
The club have moved quickly on Vidal, 31, after it became clear that Rabiot would be very hard to sign from PSG. Barcelona are expected to sign the midfielder for 20 million euros.
Vidal arrives at the request of Ernesto Valverde. The coach wanted a midfielder with muscle, fight, experience and character to replace Paulinho, as well as someone who arrives in the box at the right time.
Vidal will be the fourth and final signing for Barcelona after bringing in Arthur, Lenglet and Malcom. They have spent 127m so far on reinforcements, with the exits of Yerry Mina, Paco Alcacer, Munir, Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal and Rafinha to be decided.
