Barça have quickly got to work on the stadium revamp following the end of the season

FC Barcelona continue to make progress on the refurbishment of Spotify Camp Nou as part of the new Espai Barça project.

With the men's first team season over and after all the farewell events, the work started at the beginning of June and will last until June 2026, but members will be able to access it again in November 2024, coinciding with the 125th anniversary of the institution.

As can be seen in the image published by Barça on social media, Spotify Camp Nou is already without grass and most of the seats in the third tier of the stadium are already out. As detailed by the club in a statement, the "total demolition of the third tier and the evacuation of all reusable facilities" has begun.

Up to 250 workers are currently involved in the Spotify Camp Nou redevelopment works and this number is expected to increase in the coming weeks, when the cranes that will surround the stadium arrive.

As a result, the men's first team will play all their home games next season at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys de Montjuïc on a temporary basis, as will the women's first team for the big games.
