The five best goalkeepers in the world according to Ter Stegen
The Barça stopper picked various Champions League rivals
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen spoke to the media ahead of his side's Champions League game against Roma on Tuesday.
Among the questions put to the German international, he was asked who are the five best goalkeepers in the world at the moment.
Ter Stegen named David De Gea (Manchester United), Ederson (Manchester City), Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Gianluiggi Buffon (Juventus) and Alisson (Roma).
"I can't say who is the best, each one has their own qualities," he said. "There are a lot of goalkeepers that can make the difference."
However, he didn't name any stoppers from the Spanish league, not even teammate Jasper Cillessen, Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak or Real Madrid's Keylor Navas.
