Betis fans applauded and bowed to the Argentine maestro who hit a hat-trick in the 4-1 thrashing
The Benito Villamarin bowed to Lionel Messi on Sunday after his hat-trick and spectacular show during Barca's 4-1 win at Real Betis.
Messi completed his hat-trick with a lob after 85 minutes and the fans in the stadium applauded him and chanted his name, with some bowing down.
"Messi, Messi, Messi," chanted Real Betis fans, knowing they were watching the best player in the world.
Messi moved up to 29 goals for the season in La Liga, the division's top scorer. Against Betis he has 19 in 19 games.
