Barcelona have 11 players nominated for inclusion, including Jordi Alba, who was cut from Lucho's Spain squad

FIFPro have published the 55-man shortlist for their XI of the year. A list that over 25,000 footballers from 65 countries are eligible to make.

Among the chosen ones, La Liga has 25 players, nearly half, showing its quality. That is without counting Arturo Vidal and Thibaut Courtois who have just arrived.

Barca have 11 of the 55 candidates. A player for every position in a 4-3-3 except right-back.
