The German goalkeeper's spoken about the midfielder's potential return
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has joined the list of players at Camp Nou in favour of Thiago Alcantara's return to the club.
The German international, currently at the World Cup with his country, believes the Bayern Munich midfielder would be a good signing for Barça.
Talking to Sport Bild, he said: “I would like to have Thiago at Barca. His playing style suits us and from our viewpoint he is an interesting player.
"Thiago is a special type of player. He definitely would offer us different possibilities. If a transfer happened, it would be brilliant both for him and for us.”
Ter Stegen's not the only Barcelona player that wants Thiago back. Various Barça players would like him to come back to the club, while Bayern have left the door open to an exit.
