Ter Stegen could be fit to face Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday

The German goalkeeper returned to training last week and could reappear in the UCL

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen stepped up his return from a knee problem on Monday as he completed another training session ahead of this week's Champions League game against Dynamo Kyiv.

Samuel Umtiti also took part in the session but if further away from a first-team comeback.

Ter Stegen returned to training last Thursday. He doesn't yet have the green light to return to action but could receive it before Wednesday's game against Kyiv.

Neto has filled in well for Ter Stegen with the exception of the last game, when a mix up with Gerard Pique cost Barça a goal in a 1-1 draw with Alaves.

The doctor Ramon Cugat performed an intervention on Ter Stegen's knee in August and the goalkeeper was ruled out for two and a half months at the time.
