Arsene Wenger will not do anything to help Hector Bellerin leave Arsenal in the summer. The coach wants to keep the defender at the club despite fierce interest from elsewhere, including Barcelona.

“Bellerin just signed a new long-term contract. Hector will stay many years as an Arsenal player.”
“It’s a difficult thing to take seriously,” he said about a potential offer for Bellerin. However, despite Wenger’s attitude, Barcelona will wait for the coach to take a decision about his own future before making contact with Arsenal’s directors to analyse a firm offer for the right-back. He is the club’s No 1 target for next season.
