Sergio Busquets' knee injury is not as bad as first feared
The RFEF have sent Barcelona more details of the slight ligament sprain
Sergio Busquets has undergone further tests in his knee in Seville, where the Spanish national team are based ahead of their decisive UEFA Nations League game against Germany on Tuesday.
The RFEF have informed Barça that Busquets suffered a slight sprain of the ligament in his right knee and advised that he will not play against Germany.
As revealed by SPORT, the midfielder's injury is not serious, although it will rule him out of the game against German and, with all probability, Barça's trip to Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
The initial fear had been three weeks out but the sprain is light and Ronald Koeman is now waiting to see if he will be back or not in time for the Champions League game against Dynamo Kyiv next Tuesday.
However, with qualification to the next round on track, the logical decision would be to reserve Busquets until the following weekend, when Osasuna are at Camp Nou.
