The right-back scored the third goal as Barcelona beat Celta Vigo 3-0

Barcelona defender Sergi Roberto produced a fine display against Celta Vigo as Ronald Koeman's side won 3-0. He scored the third goal in the last minute.

The right-back spoke after the game about Barça making it two wins from two in La Liga and about the mettle they showed to oust Celta despite playing with 10 men for 45 minutes.

"The team is really motivated and today with one man less we stepped up, we all defended together," he said. "You can see how united we are. We showed it in the first game and again today."

Barça's quick start to the season has helped ease the pain inflicted by the 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Roberto said some reflection was needed.

"We couldn't go into games like we were," he said. "We worked really hard in the preseason, in every training session and you can see that in the games."

As for Lionel Messi, he added: "Leo is really fired up, he ran so much and worked his socks off for the team tonight. It's important that he's playing with so much desire."

Finally, on Ansu Fati, who scored his third goal in two games, Roberto said: "Ansu is young, playing, scoring goals and I’m really happy for him, I hope he continues doing that."
