SER: Injured Barça star Dembele could have surgery in Qatar
The club have been in touch with Doha to sound out having the operation there
Barcelona plan to send a delegation to Qatar to speak with the medical team that carried out Ousmane Dembele's most recent rehabilitation program in Doha.
After the Frenchman's latest injury setback, the delegation want to talk about what treatment he should undergo now, according to Cadena SER.
Barça's medical team want to exhaustively analyse all the options available to Dembele and decide if more conservative treatment or an operation is the best way to go.
It's the second time Dembele has suffered this particular injury, a ruptured tendon in his right thigh. The first time, in his first season at the club, Barça opted for surgery.
They now must decide if they want to take the same route. If they do, the options will be for the surgery to take place in Doha or in Finland.
