Rotations for Barcelona vs Sporting Gijon in La Liga

Lucho gets Javier Mascherano and Arda Turan back after their physical problems and both have chances of playing

Although Luis Enrique does not have much wiggle room in Barcelona's chase for the Spanish title, the intensity of the calendar means the coach is likely to make a lot of rotations for the visit of Sporting Gijon on Wednesday.

Lucho gets Javier Mascherano and Arda Turan back from their physical problems and both have chances of playing.

One player who likely won't be rotated is Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Jordi Alba may also return after being rested against Atletico, although if Barcelona play with three defenders again he might miss out.

In midfield is where Barcelona have tended to make the most changes this season. Rakitic used to appear a lot but the Croatian has been held back this season and ANdre Gomes might be used - or Rafinha, after he scored at the Calderon.

It's harder to foresee any changes in attack. Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar play all the games if there are no injuries or suspensions.

The coach will also be thinking about upcoming games, against Celta Vigo in La Liga and PSG in the Champions League. Both are at Camp Nou.
