Riqui Puig: Thanks to Quique for the opportunity
The cantera player was delighted with his appearance from the bench
Riqui Puig was happy as he spoke to Barca TV after making his first La Liga appearance of the season in the 1-0 win over Granada on Sunday.
"The atmosphere is very different, above all in La Liga at Camp Nou, and I'm very happy for having debuted at home, although the three points were more important. I want to thank Quique Setien for the opportunity."
He came on for Rakitic in the 70th minute and won the ball back in the build up to Leo Messi's winner. "When I came on in the second half it's true we had a clear chance and we were able to score the goal."
On the future, he added: "I'm taking what will come with optimism and with a lot of happiness for my debut, but I will do what they tell me, either with Barca B or with the first team. From now, I'll keep working."
