The Brazilian's value has crashed since he signed for PSG and is looking to recover his 'stock' to the level it was when he played for Barça
Neymar is aware that he's reached a crucial moment in his career where he needs to make a decision if he wants to avoid his 'stock' falling any further. After signing for PSG in a €222m deal his value has continued to decrease with each passing season. Injuries and off the field matters have had a considered impact on his valuation.
According to a recent study by CIES Football Observatory, Neymar is currently worth €124.7m and finds himself as the 17th most valued player in the world. In January 2018, after six months with PSG, Neymar was top of the list with a value of €213m. That signals a decrease of €88.3m!
The study by CIES isn't the only one which represents a loss in value for the Brazilian forward. According to 'transfermarkt', Neymar is valued at just €180m.
