In France there's talk about where Neymar might end up as he negotiates his departure from the club

Neymar is looking to leave PSG this summer. His representatives are already sounding out clubs over a possible transfer which would please all parties. PSG won't be giving him away either. At the moment his future plans are unknown but in France they've begun to speculate as to where the Brazilian star might be playing next year. And, perhaps more importantly, which of those sides would be able to cough up the high asking price.

According to those media outlets in France the top three clubs in the hunt for Neymar are Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United. It's believed that the player's preferred choice is Barça. He left the club in controversial circumstances in 2017 when PSG paid his buyout clause. His close friends, Leo Messi and Luis Suarez, would love to welcome him back but the cost of a deal - as well as the high wage demands - make it a difficult deal to get over the line.

REAL MADRID

Another possible destination is Real Madrid. Florentino Perez is a long time admirer of the Brazilian and felt like Barça 'stole' him from their clutches in 2013. Yet Madrid currently have eyes for Neymar's teammate, Kylian Mbappe, and will wait to see if PSG would sanction his sale first. There's also the potential cost of Paul Pogba coming in which might limit the funds available for any more top tier signings.

MANCHESTER UNITED

The sale of Paul Pogba is why Manchester United might be in the running to sign Neymar too. With the club going through a lengthy transitional period, the arrival of Neymar would prove to the world they are still a side to be feared. However, the lack of Champions League football might cost them when it comes to negotiations with the player himself.

JUVENTUS

And lastly we have Juventus. The Turin giants would love to pair Neymar up with Cristiano Ronaldo and arguably form the most lethal attacking duo in world football. But with Juve recently announcing that Maurizio Sarri is to be their new manager, it's thrown into doubt what their plans might be for next season.
