Real Betis no longer counting on Junior as they name Casablanca squad
The Barça-bound defender is not in the squad for Sunday's game
Barcelona are close to confirming Junior Firpo as their fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of De Jong, Griezmann and Neto.
The left-back, 22, will move to the Catalan club after a deal was struck with Real Betis for a transfer which could reach 25 million euros.
Proof that a move is imminent comes in the form of the Betis squad for Sunday's game against Raja Casablanca. Junior is not included.
Betis dropped their demands following drawn-out negotiations for the Spain U21 international, eventually agreeing to sell for 18 million plus seven million in add-ons.
Ernesto Valverde hopes everything will be completed for Junior to fly out with the squad on the tour of the United States this week.
Barça fly on Monday for two games against Napoli, the first in Miami and the second in Michigan.
