Raphinha's medical report after injury against Sevilla

FC Barcelona confirmed an injury to Brazilian player Raphinha after Friday night's match at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys de Montjuïc against Sevilla on Saturday.

The winger suffers an injury "in the biceps femoris of the right thigh". The former Leeds player left the pitch in the 35th minute after taking his hand on the back of his leg. Raphinha was injured when trying to finish off a through ball. Fermín López, who also scored at Son Moix, came on in his place.

According to the first scans, Raphinha would be out for at least a month, so he could recover around the first clásico of the season against Real Madrid, which is on 28 October. What is already certain is that he will not be available either against Porto at Do Dragao or Granada at Los Cármenes.

The Brazilian will also miss the games against Athletic and Shakhtar, on 22 and 25 October, respectively.

With this injury, Raphinha joins Pedri and Frenkie de Jong in the treatment room.
