No luck for Raphinha as he goes off injured in Barça's game vs. Sevilla
The Brazilian did not make it to half-time after being forced off with an injury
Luck is not smiling upon Raphinha. After standing out in Mallorca last Tuesday (2-2), where he scored Barcelona's first goal with a spectacular left-footed shot, Xavi gave him his third start in LaLiga this season against Sevilla. Unfortunately, the Brazilian had to leave the field injured in the 35th minute.
Fermín López, who also scored at Son Moix, came on in his place. The Brazilian, who got injured while shooting, grabbed the back of his right leg after feeling a possible muscle tear. He did well to get past the Sevilla defense with one of his numerous runs in behind, but at the moment of the shot, he felt the strain.
After putting on a great performance in central areas against Javier Aguirre's Mallorca team, Xavi chose to position him in that role, on the right side of the midfield, to give the winger position to Lamine Yamal, another player who is in excellent form from the squad.
