Rakitic reveals that his Barça dreams stem back to his childhood
The Barcelona player has uploaded a photograph which show he's always had Blaugrana feelings
Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic is in his third season at Barcelona.
Until now, though, he had not explained that since he was a kid he had dreamed of wearing the Blaugrana shirt. He has now uploaded a photograph to his Instagram account to demonstrate it.
In the image you can see a young Rakitic accepting a Christmas gift: a ball with the Barcelona badge. And alongside the image he adds the following text: “Since I was very young I liked Barça, how lucky that destiny has given me the opportunity to form part of this great club.”
Rakitic has now played 139 official games for the club. He is a regular in Luis Enrique’s team, although in the last few weeks he has not played as much.
