Neymar’s future at Barcelona remains up in the air. Barely 24 hours after the good news for Barça fans that Neymar and Barcelona could be moving closer to an understanding, it seems that the two parties might have moved further apart again. According to RAC 1, the last meeting between Neymar’s father and Barcelona directors in the US was not as positive as had been hoped. There is still no agreement.
While the Barça president Josep María Bartomeu was travelling back to Barcelona, Neymar’s father went to meet Barcelona directors after Barça’s game after Juventus in the International Champions Cup, in which Neymar scored twice.
Despite the attempts of the club’s directors and players to convince the player to stay, it seems that the chances of the player moving to PSG have once again improved. It is expected that the two parties will meet again on Sunday, despite the fact that Josep María Bartomeu is now in Barcelona.
