Reports in France also suggest it a matter of days before PSG pay Neymar's release fee

The Parisian club are not willing to let Marco Verratti go the other way as part of the deal

While Barcelona are preparing for what could be a vital few days with regard to the potential transfer of Neymar to PSG, sources in Paris are already reporting that the Brazilian has given the green light to the club to pay his release fee.

Le Parisien has a clear headline “Neymar says yes to PSG” and summarises a series of key facts that have emerged in the last few hours that back up reports that support the headline.

A few days ago his compatriots at PSG knew first hand that Neymar had decided to listen to the Parisian club, and on Friday news that the Brazilian had already told the Brazilians at PSG that he wanted to move to Paris.

Several heavyweights in the Barça squad have tried to convince the player to stay, although the picture the player posted on Instagram with him lying on the floor looking reflexive seemed to confirm Barça fans’ worst fears.

From the French side, the “likes” from Kevin Trapp, Marco Verrati and Kurzawa for the picture seemed to open the club’s doors to Neymar and manager Unai Emery also said the club needed a player who was in the top 5 in the world. Le Parisien also confirms that PSG have no intention of including Marco Verratti in any potential transfer. They want to strengthen themselves and weaken a club they see as a direct rival.
