The French midfielder has yet to make a decision on his future but Barça have grown tired of waiting for an answer
Adrien Rabiot's future remains unclear. The PSG player is yet to respond to the club's offer of a new contract but nor has he taken the steps to announce he wants a transfer away.
This indecision goes hand in hand with Barça's transfer business. As revealed by SPORT, both Rabiot and his entourage were warned that if they didn't respond to Barcelona's offer than the club would activate other irons in the fire. Most notably, Arturo Vidal.
Late on Thursday evening, Rabiot's people contacted Barcelona to ask if the rumours of an agreement between Vidal and Barça were true or whether it was simply scare tactics to force Rabiot's hand. The answer was clear: Barça were true to their word and because the Frenchman didn't make a move, they were forced to explore other options.
