The French player has told PSG he'll only stay if he's made one of the best paid players at the club

Adrien Rabiot is one of the names that is doing the rounds at Barcelona. The French midfielder has spoken with Antero Henrique, the director of football at PSG, and with Thomas Tuchel, first team coach at the club, to lay down his future plans.

According to 'Paris United', Rabiot has told PSG that he's willing to sign a new deal at the French club if he becomes one of the best paid players in the squad. The midfielder is asking for €600,000 per month to stay in Paris with the French champions. This appears to be a sum that Henrique isn't willing to match.

Rabiot, who only has a year left on his contract with PSG, already has a verbal agreement with Barcelona should a deal be agreed between the two clubs. Now the player is refusing to close the door on signing a new deal if his wages are increased considerably.

Key to Rabiot's final decision will be a conversation between the player and Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG's president. The owner will arrive back in France next week after a stay in Russia. Al-Khelaifi will meet with Rabiot to clear up his future ahead of next season.
